Lorrie Brown is the UK No.1 Vera Lynn tribute, winning a National Tribute Award from the Agents Association of GB.  She is also endorsed by Dame Vera Lynn herself, who, after hearing of Lorrie’s award, asked to meet her. She has seen Lorrie perform and says her show is ‘Superb’.  Lorrie has been performing her show for over 25yrs and has played all around the UK, including the Blackpool Opera House twice, St David’s Hall in Cardiff and even West Ham FC at half time on Remembrance Sunday in 2009.  Lorrie will transport you back to the days when the songs has beautiful lyrics and melodies, dressed in her authentic ENSA uniform.

The show will have you on your feet waving your flags with pride with some of the classic songs from the 1940’s, including of course, We’ll Meet Again

Dad’s Army remains one of the most popular situation comedies on British television. It ran for eighty episodes over nine years and a feature film, radio series and West End stage production were also commissioned. Sadly most of the cast are now no longer with us and are sorely missed by the British public. Now we bring to life some of the best loved Characters of DAD’S ARMY in this very special matinee show.
This is a variety show packed full of the stars who kept the nation entertained during the dark years of 2 world wars and of course the Home Guard of Warmington on Sea were doing their very best to protect the ‘Green and Pleasant’ shores of Great Britian. This shows consists additionally of recreations in vision and sound of George Formby, Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra and Gracie Fields, Marie Lloyd, Harry Lauder and FLANNINGAN & ALLEN and a special recreation of WINDSOR DAVIES & DON ESTELLE singing ‘Whispering Grass ! as well as many sketches from ‘DADS ARMY’ recreated together with some from the lost episodes.
Prepare yourself for an afternoon of pure entertainment. This show will have you on your feet singing along and waving your flags with pride. It is all held together by your very own air raid warden, Warden Braithwaite.
As soon as you walk into the room, you will be transported back into the 1940’s with flags, posters and bunting. This is truly a memorable show and will finish in a truly patriotic finale which will have you bursting with pride.

Following their success on 2018’s Britain’s Got Talent and their hugely successful debut Album “I’ll Remember You” charting number 15 in the official album charts and receiving a BRIT Break through Award, the UK’s premier Wartime Act, The D-Day Darlings, 3 key members bring their brand new stage show to Historic Lavenham.

The group was formed 10 years ago by founder and lead singer Katie Ashby, after Katie recognised the importance of this music and how it resonates with people like no other genre of music. Katie says, “To see how these songs affect people and how the melody and lyrics evoke such memories was truly eye-opening for me, and it was this that made me want to build a career singing these timeless songs and bring back memories for so many people”
