Worldwide Spin in Public Day
15th September 2018 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
To celebrate Worldwide Spin in Public Day, The Lavenham Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers will be demonstrating their skills at locations throughout the village on Saturday 15 September.
Explore our beautiful village as you wander around the village to view the demonstrations happening at The Guildhall, The Angel Gallery, Elizabeth Gash, the Angel Hotel, the Swan Hotel and The Tourist Information Centre.
You can pick up a free map of the village from any of the businesses to help navigate yourselves around our beautiful wonky village.
Spinning takes place between 11am and 4pm, so come along and see fibres spun into beautiful yarn.
Lavenham is the best preserved medieval wool town in England and was built on the riches of the medieval cloth and wool trade, especially with its famous Blue Broad Cloth.
