Lavenham was granted its first market charter in 1257 by Henry III, and remarkably this tradition continues today. Winning numerous awards over the years, the monthly Farmers Market organised by Suffolk Market Events won The Farm Retail Association’s Best Farmers Market in the UK Award in 2022.
