Lavenham Guided Walks - Winter Wednesdays!

Now the New Year is upon us, why not join us for a Winter Wednesday guided tour of Lavenham?

A member of our team of Blue and Green badge tour guides will be at the Swan Hotel, High Street, to take you on an information packed walk around the village of Lavenham.

Learn about the medieval cloth trade, see the former cloth Merchants’ houses and hear how the village survived almost 200 years of neglect and poverty.

How did it survived and why it is the best preserved medieval village in England today?

We can show you where Jane and Ann Taylor lived, authors of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, where John Constable went to school and the building used for ‘Godrick’s Hollow’ in the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows film !

Meet your guide in the foyer of The Swan Hotel, High Street at 2 o’clock – no pre-booking required!

The cost will be £4.00 per person (cash only) – and your ticket allows you to return to The Swan for a cup of tea/coffee at a reduced price!

Why not book a private tour for you and your guests at a time to suit?
