A member of our team of Blue and Green badge tour guides will meet you at The Swan Hotel, High Street to take you on an information packed walk around the village of Lavenham.

Lavenham is the best preserved medieval village in England today…

Learn about the medieval cloth trade, see the former cloth Merchants’ houses and hear how the village survived almost 200 years of neglect and poverty.

We can show you where Jane and Ann Taylor lived, the authors of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, where John Constable went to school and the building used for ‘Godrick’s Hollow’ in  ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows’  (Part 2)

Adult £4. (cash only) and your ticket allows you to return to The Swan Hotel to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee at a reduced price.
