I
Traditional Upholsterers Suffolk and UK Based
Nestled in the beautiful medieval village of Lavenham, I specialise in traditional upholstery, breathing new life into antique and cherished furniture using time-honoured techniques and meticulous craftsmanship.
Upholsterers Suffolk are surrounded by one of the most picturesque, famous for its timber-framed buildings, rich history, and enduring craftsmanship, my work is rooted in a deep respect for traditional upholstery and the preservation of heritage furniture.
From hand-tied springs and stitched edges to carefully chosen natural fillings and fabrics, every piece is approached with patience, precision, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Preserving Traditional Upholstery
Traditional upholstery is an art form that deserves to be preserved.
I work using many of the same methods that have been passed down through generations of upholsterers in Suffolk. These techniques are designed not only to restore furniture beautifully, but to ensure it lasts for decades to come.
Whether restoring a well-loved armchair, reviving an antique sofa, or creating bespoke upholstery pieces, I believe craftsmanship should be seen in every detail, from the invisible structure beneath the fabric to the final finishing stitch.
My training through the AMUSF has given me a strong technical foundation in both traditional and modern upholstery, with a particular passion for antique seating and period furniture.
