Every batch is handmade by Jane herself back at the farm from four simple ingredients: fresh milk, cream, free-range egg yolks and raw sugar cane sugar. You’ll find her in the shop each day, chatting to the locals, brewing the most delicious Monmouth coffee (freshly roasted at Borough Market) and watching over the sorbet of the day mixing in the tabletop churn.
In the winter months, The Parlour transforms into a cosy sanctuary, serving sumptuous hot chocolate. Choose your strength of single-origin chocolate from local bean-to-bar chocolate makers, Pump Street and Tosier, which Jane will whisk for your perfect cup, each one topped with a deliciously squidgy mega marshmallow.
Fast becoming a chocolate lovers’ destination, The Parlour has many delicacies to take home too. Discover award-winning truffles, made with fresh cream ganache, hand-rolled and packaged in cocoa husk gift boxes, plus a variety of other responsibly sourced chocolate choices.
The Parlour has often been described as a Great Taste Award Emporium. Over 20 years, Jane has won many of these prestigious stars for ice cream, sorbet, hot chocolate, chocolate truffles, and amaretti.
